Usage of artificial intelligent in energy
How AI is used for energy?
AI is getting more applicable to control the intermittency of renewable energy with that much can be integrated into the grid; it can hold power fluctuations and improvement of energy storage together.
The Department of Energy’s SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory which is run by Stanford University will apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify vulnerabilities in the grid, strengthen them before failures, and restore power more immediately when failures happens. The system will initially research part of the grid in California, analyzing data from renewable power sources, battery storage, and satellite imagery that can show where trees growing over power lines might impact complication in a storm. The objective is to develop a grid that can automatically control renewable energy without intersperce and recover from system failures with minimal human implication.
